04/07/01

iwillgonow: You doing the feast of Unleavened Bread too, right?
psycho314t: i was thinking about that earlier.. explain it to me. starts today, goes for 7 days, or..?
iwillgonow: There was something to talk about while you were here, but nooooooo, you didn't say nothing.
psycho314t: i thought about it when ur dad was talking, not after we were in ur room : \
iwillgonow: Feast of Unleavened Bread started with tonight, the beginning of the Lord's Supper, formerly Passover.
iwillgonow: It goes for seven days, making the last day begin fri. at sundown, going to sundown that Sabbath.
psycho314t: was today formerly the beginning or end of passover?
iwillgonow: Beginning.
psycho314t: ok
psycho314t: explain the restrictions? or tell me where to find them..
iwillgonow: March 25 is the right day.
iwillgonow: Just checked Almanac.
psycho314t: ya
iwillgonow: You can only not eat anything with yeast in it.
iwillgonow: Called leavening in the Bible.
iwillgonow: It's what causing things such as bread to ferment, and therefore rise.
psycho314t: i thought there was something about certain grains that couldnt be eaten...
iwillgonow: Nah, that was for the wavesheaf or something.
psycho314t: ohh.. ok
iwillgonow: Feast of Unleavened bread=no bread with leavening or yeast. See?
psycho314t: heh.. there's the logic thing again. yeah, i see
iwillgonow: So just don't eat any sandwiches.
iwillgonow: Or pizza.
iwillgonow: Anything that rises when baked or something has yeast in it.
psycho314t: so stick with my chicken strips and i'll be fine? : P
iwillgonow: Yup.
iwillgonow: Burritos 4 me.
iwillgonow: It'll be a taco bell week.
iwillgonow: Nachos and such.
iwillgonow: Chips don't rise when cooked, no yeast in em.
psycho314t: heh.. my friends detest tacobell, or i'd prolly be there too
iwillgonow: You know why we don't eat anything with yeast in it for a week, besides the fact God said "NO."
psycho314t: nope, something else i shouldve asked while i was there
iwillgonow: Cause yeast symbolizes...?
psycho314t: oh, ur dad said this at one point, didnt he... or..?
psycho314t: erm.. i dont know..
iwillgonow: Yeast does inherantly negative connotative things, such as ferment, rot, putrify the bread.
iwillgonow: That's why it rised.
iwillgonow: Rises.
psycho314t: corrupts.. thats the word i was sorta thinking of..
iwillgonow: When we throw yeast out of our lives, we are symbolically throwing _ _ _ out of our lives.
psycho314t: sin
iwillgonow: *ding*
iwillgonow: You are cOOOoorect!
iwillgonow: yeast=sin
psycho314t: i get it..
iwillgonow: Unfermented grape juice and bread=what?
psycho314t: flesh & blood of Christ, untouched by sin
iwillgonow: Without sin, correct again!
